Cara Upgrade Firmware Android pada Smartphone Samsung

Recently many Samsung-Android devices got their Android version update leaks. Now luckily the lower end Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 confirmed that it has also received Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update. From the ROM, it is shown that the build date is on June 2, 2011. This ROM has been upped by Samfirmware and now is ready to be downloaded.

The ROM is based on Android 2.3.3 and it suite very well if you are looking for the latest firmware stock update. However by installing this update you will remove all your root access, off course if your device is rooted. Though this ROM is not preferable for few Android users, but its open the chance for developers to developed as well as improve with further customization and as for now you can play with the stock only.

Now that you have to know what this ROM is all about, lest move on to the requirement and installation procedure shall we? But before we continue you need to remember that we are not responsible if your device gets damaged by following the process, so update at your risk.

Requirements:

* Android 2.3.4 KP1 ROM.
* Samsung USB drivers installed.
* ODIN installed on your system.

Instructions:

1. First you need to download the firmware and extract it.
2. Then, put your phone into download mode by holding down the Volume Down key and pressing the Power button.
3. After that, run ODIN and click on PIT to choose the pit file from the folder where you extracted the ROM. Make sure Re-partition is checked in ODIN.
4. Then, click on PDA and choose the ROM file when prompted. (It will be the one over 100mb.)
5. After that, click on Phone and select the file starting with the name MODEM.
6. Then, lastly click on CSC and select the file starting with the name CSC.
7. Once done, connect your phone to the computer via USB and once you see the device connected in ODIN, hit the Start button.
8. Now ODIN will start flashing the ROM, and once done flashing your phone will reboot. You can unplug the phone from your computer.

Voila! if you follow the instruction correctly then your device should boot into the new Android 2.3.4 firmware, enjoy.
